Thank you for the positive e-mails, public comments and phone calls. My goal is to repair the infrastructure as the 'foundation' of our roads are in disrepair. I've concentrated on patching holes within the District and working on drainage issues as well. It will take some time due to the number of areas that need attention. Once these areas have been addressed, if funds are available, I will be able to pursue the oil and chip program in the future. It's by belief and experience, maintaining and correcting the foundation of our roads is essential. 

You have probably noticed several areas where rock has been spread.  I sincerely apologize for the dust, however, since our roads have approximately 1.5 inches of rock then dirt beneath, it is my intention to build the road base while correcting the drainage issue.  Without these two problems fixed, we will continue to have problems and waste money.  The County has stopped making patch for this year.  If patch is purchased elsewhere, it is not cost effective for several reasons.  I am aware we still have holes, please slow down.
